1.RECORDING
One might think that recording a play or recital is easy , “You just put the camera on a tripod and relax”. Recording a play seems pretty straightforward if all you want to do is provide evidence that it took place. Creating a video of a play that people will enjoy watching is something completely different. You just might be capturing that event for years to come, and it might be "th
e" video that is played year after year by family and friends of the performers during the holiday season. The pressure is on, are you going to give them the usual ho-hum back-of-the-theater wide shot, or a truly magnificent piece that they'll cherish every time they open that DVD box and insert that disc into their player. We use all the latest technology at our disposal to get the best quality footage available. Using 2-3 different cameras simultaneously to get all the best angles of the show. The footage is then edited to compile the best scenes with the best camera shots and put onto one final DVD that the family can enjoy for years to come. As the DVD will represent you, we customize every one with its own original cover before it is wrapped. Striving to keep producing the best on the market we keep our eyes open for any new advances in technology. No 2 productions are ever the same, and we treat every single one uniquely.
2.SOUND
Setting up stage sound equipment requires knowledge of sound systems and their components. If the systems are not setup correctly it will cause distortion and reverb. This means the speakers make a scratching noise or repeats audio that has already played over them. The amount of sound is also essential as one does not want to the audience to be exposed to sound that is too loud and hurts their ears. We offer you the perfect balance between indoor and outdoor sound setups that will amplify every sound you need. We ensure the best quality sound for your events as we use specialized sound systems that can be fitted to any event and adjusted to the specific event’s needs. With every event being of a different nature, we also request being able to do sound checks before the actual event to make sure nothing can go wrong during the big show. Let us help you make your show as spectacular as you have always wanted it to be. Make it something people speak about for years to come.
3.LIGHTING
Lighting up a show on stage is probably the most important thing when performing a stage production. It is the lighting's responsibility to change the emphasis on stage, create the drama, change cut scenes and illuminate the performers. With our high grade lighting technicians your show will be as great as you pictured it. Every movement will captivate the audience and every face will be lit on stage. Our lighting team is familiar with all the different lighting techniques that are available and they will use all of them to ensure a clear and well lit show. Making use of: -Selective visibility (Ability to see what is occurring on stage)
-Revelation of form (Altering the perception of shapes onstage, particularly three-dimensional stage elements.)
-Focus designs (Directing the audience's attention to an area of the stage or distracting them from another.)
-Mood lighting (Setting the tone of a scene. Harsh red light has a different effect than soft lavender light.)
-Plot/script lighting (A lighting event may trigger or advance the action onstage and off)
-Composition lighting (Lighting may be used to show only the areas of the stage which the designer wants the audience to see, and to "paint a picture".) Universal School Productions will make your event look as spectacular and as magnificent as you pictured it.
