Da Lex has also cemented his name back home in South Africa with releases on labels Spiced Music, DRI Records, AfroMove Music, Lav2rais Media, Deephonix Records and most recently signed as a freelance with Heart N Soul Records. All these releases are now digitally available for streaming and purchase all online music platforms(iTunes, Bandcamp, another download site, Google Play, Sportify, Amazon, YouTube, Sound Cloud).
Da Lex DJ has also gained traction through monthly podcasting; Boogie Moves and 1 Way Movement, and DJ appearances. In the early spring time of the year 2017, Da Lex DJ was fortunately featured on the Re P**a Di’Glass and Wine O’Clock event roster at R55 Chillout in Olivenhoutbosch Centurion, where he showcased an impressive DJ set. Da Lex DJ still continues to gig in, outside and around the capital city of House music Pretoria at pubs like Dinoko Park in Mabopane, Urban Lounge in Mabopane, R55 Chillout in Centurion, Netso Gallery stationed at the Duduza East Rand Resource centre.
In 2016 Da Lex DJ helped steer Deep House Forecast Movement with Lesiba Manaka(Lavista D) and Lesego Koenane(Ms Lee) from his backroom in Mabopane. The movement focused on creating opportunities for aspirant creatives in the music/entertainment industry by helping them with artist admin, event booking contractual queries, acquiring royalty statement(s) and artist management. Through this chapter of his still early career he was able to learn the business aspect of music and management skills. Sadly the movement short lived its lifespan due to irregularities within the management structure late 2017.
With all these milestones under his belt Da Lex DJ still firmly believes that there’s still more to learn as he one day plans to study music at University level.
