What do you do for a living? What are you pursuing in life? Whatever you do is of little worth without being in direct partnership with the business of prayer.

Living a devoted life is not only reserved for pastors, apostles, and prophets; it is for everyone who believes and has a relationship with our Lord Jesus.

Satan’s aim is to keep us busy with work, business, and the hustle and bustle of life, to the extent that we forget to read our Bible and pray. Once he achieves this, he has effectively disarmed us because prayer is the most formidable and intimidating weapon we have against him. Therefore, live a devoted life if you want to see success in your career and your lifetime.

Who are the "poor" in spirit according to Jesus in Matthew 5:3? NIV: Bleesed are the poor in spirit for.."

Matthew 5:3 NLT: "God blesses those who are poor and realize their need for Him, for the Kingdom of heaven is theirs."

By revelation of the Holy Spirit, the "poor" as referenced in this scripture does not refer to the literal meaning of being poor in relation to poverty or lacking financially.

The "poor" Jesus is talking about are those who rely on God for everything. They have one life for God, one life for Him so dear. They do nothing on their own without God. They know how much they need God in their daily lives.

To the people of this world, the "poor" are insignificant. The "poor" are in the world but not a part of it. This world is not their home. That's why Jesus says the kingdom of Heaven is their reward.

They are often persecuted for doing what is right, for the Kingdom of heaven is theirs. Matthew 5:10

They are mocked or lied against for being followers of Jesus, but their reward is in Heaven. Matthew 5:11.

Cheer up Children of God, our reward is in Heaven. Continue to live for God and to depend on Him daily.
