Spotify is owned by a scumbag. There is even evidence suggestion that Spotify might be generating AI music so they can flood their own streams and cheat musicians out of more royalties. There are plenty of other streaming services that at least have a little appreciation for the artist. If you only want free music, you will end up with music that isn't worth listening to.
