Radio Bop was the FIRST Radio Station in South Africa to have 3 hour Radio show of Exclusively Raw HIP-HOP presented by yours truly Khaya Kool on Friday from 9pm to 12 Midnight, thanks to Modisane Modise for the opportunity and agreeing to the concept. Khaya Kool - Radio Bop's LAST MAN STANDING as I closed The Territorial Radio Bop on the 31st July 2023 which was established on the 5th December 1978. Yooooooh, it has been 20 years since then.

Do You REMEMBER...the late C**ky Poohopedi "Two Bull" Thlotlolomaje of Radio 702? He was the First African to be on a White Radio Station (Radio 702) which was established on 28th June 1980 two years after Radio Bop went on air. C**k "Two Bull" Thlotlolomaje had a party show on Radio 702 which captivated all those who loved radio and party music. He was very energetic and slang his way in introducing music to his audience. He unfortunately died of heart failure at the age of 75 in May 2012. To the Radio Legend C**ky "Two Bull" Thlotlolomaje we say Thanks for Making Radio Sound So'SUPERKOOL 🙏🙏🙏

Today we pay Tribute to The Legendary Steve Harvey. Steve Harvey was a high school learner at Glenville High School four years before Radio Bop was launched in 1978. Be began his Radio career in the year 2000 with his popular Morning show namely; Steve Harvey Morning Show. This show is still broadcast from his Radio Station

Goerge "Chinki" Manyosi...

As we pay Tribute to Radio Legends we salute Goerge "Chinki" Manyosi who joined Radio Bop on 10th November 1989. He is from GARANGA(Garankuwa Kasi). He attended Tsogo High School in Mmakau De-Weldt. At Tsogo High School he was Students Head Prefect and mostly known of his dancing like Michael Jackson doing his moon walk and swinging his hand like a Robot. No doubt his command of English should be attributed to Sister Immaculata and Sister Majella.

He was a close friend of the late Bob Mabena and worked with him at Radio Bop and KAYA FM. He is still working at KAYA FM. Legendary Goerge Manyosi thanks 🙏🙏🙏 for making Radio Sounding So'SUPERKOOL ...
