Africa Jamz FM announces inaugural Zimbabweans in PE Excellence Awards
Africa Jamz FM has announced its inaugural awards aimed at honouring Zimbabweans in Port Elizabeth and surrounding areas who excelled in the music, arts and social spheres in the past years since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic.
With 10 categories, nominees will be chosen through a voting system on Strawpoll.com.
Each person will only be allowed to vote once for each category.
Voting lines were opened yesterday and will close on May 20, 2023.
Voting links can be seen on the station's page and can be shared around.
Winners will receive a shield, certificate and in some categories cash vouchers
Africa Jamz FM Station CEO, Chikomo Patsika said the awards ceremony would be held at the end of May when voting ends.
He said tickets to the Awards event, including performances by headline acts, would also be made available on the station's page and on the Group "Zimbabweans In Port Elizabeth.
