Don't let your loneliness make you reconnect with toxic people. You shouldn't drink poison just because you're thirsty.

You can forgive people for what they've done to you, and that's it. Forgiveness doesn't require reconnection. Understand that you can forgive people without letting them enter your life again. If they've changed, good for them. But it's not a reason to reconnect with someone who once disrespected you and made you question your worth when your only intention is to show them love and loyalty.
