Film maker Sam Chevalier and crew go on a Keystones Expedition exploring corridors from Eden to Addo. Getting immersed into nature and having important conversations to unlock important stories.

Join us for an engaging film screening night where Sam shares the magic of documentary storytelling. Giving voices to both species and people that are pivotal in protecting and regenerating our natural biomes. Sam will be joined with Chief Justin Barnardo to have a conversation around the connection between communities and our natural environment and how they are intrinsically connected. 〰️🌿

Yesterday was a glorious day. Spring was in the air. Whilst waiting for a film scout to view Rock Pool Villa (which is perfect due to its privacy and amazing setting) I took some pics. The sound of the ocean and gorgeous decor really set the mood. What an incredible property. It fits like a glove info our portfolio: Plett Villas for families, friends and corporate getaways; Plett Film as a location villa or senior film management accommodation; Plett Weddings for intimate weddings. A chef can be arranged as well as other services. It is also an amazing property for post surgery recovery or a wellness retreat. An all rounder for sure.

Fantastic 👏 brilliant local talent creating meaningful media

Please join us for a free community screening of Wild Zambezi - a story by Plett locals Daron Chatz and Grace Harrison - at Sky Villa Boutique Hotel on Friday 12th January 2024.
Daron and Grace set out to tell a very important story. The story is set in Zambia’s Lower Zambezi Valley but the messages that it delivers are extremely relevant to the world. The Wild Zambezi series deals with themes such as truly protecting the last protected wilderness areas on the planet, climate change, community livelihoods, animal and human co existence, ecotourism and conservation.
“We were extremely privileged to have Dr John Kani narrate this series for us, it was a great honour to work with him” explained Daron Chatz.

What a wonderful day showcasing our beautiful area for the Film FAM Trip arranged by Plettenberg Bay Tourism, Garden Route and Klein Karoo Tourism, Wesgro and Locations Africa. The group were in awe of what this area has to offer and the natural beauty of the area. The group was such a great bunch, enthusiastic about all they viewed and passionate about the industry. I so enjoyed them.
