Care Centre
This modern, fully equipped care centre is situated on the grounds of the Oudtshoorn Retirement Village in Church Street, conveniently close to the central business area of Oudtshoorn. Vision - A safe home where the elderly are cared for with love, respect and compassion. Mission - Competent and professional service to meet the physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs of the elderly. Main Building
This building is the hub of the village. It is centrally situated and includes the dining-room, multipurpose lounge/lecture hall (which can be adapted for suit specific occasions), care centre, hair-dressing salon, administrative offices, library, kitchen and laundry. Dining-room
Well balanced, tasty lunches at reasonable prices are served here daily. Lounge
This spacious lounge/dining room has a covered braai area and is regularly used for social functions arranged by members of the Members' Association. On Sundays, the service from the Oudtshoorn Park Dutch Reformed congregation is broadcast via television to this venue. Pentecost services are also broadcast. Administration Office
The resort's administrative offices handle and coordinate all administrative and management issues. Marketing of units and a quarterly newsletter are handled by the office staff. Hair Salon
This facility is well attended by residents - men also welcome. It offers most modern hairdressing techniques. Clients from outside also use this facility; therefore appointments are necessary. Security
The entrance gate is manned by village staff and an independent security company 24 hours a day. All security guards are trained in accordance with the South African security regulations and provisions. Our entire complex is protected by an electrified security fence that is inspected daily.
