Our story
Feel your body caress the sun’s warmth; taste the wealth of the nourishing food on offer; smell the earthy woods which surround you, within a blanket of forest; hear the harmony between the crackle of bark underfoot with the scintillating music and, see the magnificence of nature as it shelters and sustains the glistening faces around you. We are a Yoga, Music & Wine festival nestled on the very top of Constantia Nek, where a hidden sanctuary lies and our 10 hour feel good festival will unfold. So come along and after igniting the fire of our outdoor stage with a guided yoga class, the afternoon begins. Grab a picnic basket and a bottle of wine, and laugh the afternoon away, or join us on the dance floor as we watch the sun disappear through the mountain valley below before the stars come out play… Our festival format begins with a guided yoga class by The Yoag Life, accompanied by a special ambient music set from a local selector. After this blessing to the dancefloor, we lift up the mats and with our toes in the grass, celebrate until the sun casts its final golden rays along the mountain valley below, before moving inside to our ball room styled dancefloor where you can expect an audio/visual extravaganza to take us to midnight, at which time we settle down and finish off our last few conversations with new friends and old, whilst enjoying the outdoor cinema under the stars, overlooking the twinkling city lights below. Our home, is Silvermist Organic Wine Estate, at the very top of Constantia Nek, where fresh mountain air and nature’s tranquil sounds surround you. The scenery boasts views overlooking greater Cape Town and all the way round over the Republic of Hout Bay. A hidden sanctuary above the bustling below. Silvermist has their own range of delicious, award winning organic wines and is currently home to two restaurants: The Green Vine Eatery, where our event will be held – a deluxe farm style restaurant serving their very own organic ingredients with a delicious vegan friendly menu, and La Colombe, recently featuring in Trip Advisor’s Top 10 Fine Dining Restaurants in the World.
