Unspoken Words โ Is A deliberate way of existing
Itโs meant to be an art centre/hub and safe space where artists in their specialty i.e. visual artists and vocalists amongst others are able to come and share not only their talent but to express themselves.
It is because we understand modes of expressions central to (being/existing) inspired by many ideas which can be linked to many struggles we identify with such as the 1970s when Black Consciousness was heard through melodies of those who sought to fully express themselves in the quest for humanity by artists such as the likes of painter Fikile Magadlela this was emphasized by the great jazz historian Sam Mathe.
Moreover, Unspoken Words is meant to bring to the fore discussions that young people need to be deliberately engaged in such as ideology, economy, innovation and sustainability by us for us towards actively participating in shaping the world or discourse in the process of re-imagining.
In addition, the above discussions about disciplines would be described as Unspoken Words, which seeks to talk about words that were never said about the concrete realities young people shy away from and be able in that same breath be inspired to revolt in melodies.
Furthermore, this idea, movement is meant to take place every last Sunday of the Month. The idea is to also celebrate the talent Kagiso (West Rand) has to offer in having people rather than going to alternative spaces of Jazz such as Sophiatown, Melville, Braamfontein and Maboneng to experience Jazz; they would have an option in their ghetto to revolt. We envision a time where we are able to inspire young people to alternative genres where Young Blacks are exposed to certain instruments that would be hard to come by in the ghetto like the Saxophone and bass guitar, to also build an environment of jazz that has been stereotyped to b
