Standups have become a part of our daily routine at UNTAMED - even though we’re not actually standing up here. Why have frequent standup meetings?

The purpose of a standup is to:
📝 Provide a brief and efficient way for team members to synchronise
📝 Update each other on progress
📝 Discuss any blockers or challenges
📝 Plan our tasks for the day

They are a key practice within Agile methodology and aim to promote transparency, collaboration, and adaptability 🧠

We couldn’t keep track of all of this without Jira and Slack - they keep our work and communication flowing 🌊

Pro tip: a great way to track your team’s progress is with weekly Done, in progress and pipelining. 💻
Write down what you have Done, what is in progress and what's in progress and what you are pipelining for the week ahead!

Remember, social platforms are more than just networking spaces—they're powerful search engines too. So, incorporate relevant keywords into every post and make sure that your caption addresses your target audience's problem. Use hashtags and turn on your location in the post📌.

How do we boost productivity and optimise operational efficiency? Using these tools 👇 💻

1. Slack - the hub of communication - offering real-time messaging, file sharing, and integration with other essential tools, it's our go!
(Slack's huddles have saved us in our day-to-day while figuring out how to make the most of what we have. They've also allowed us to share lunch together and work collaboratively in our hybrid workspaces 🌮 🏠 )

2. Atlassian Jira - streamlining project management - Jira is Jira Software is the #1 agile project management tool used to plan, track, release, and support great software. (Kevin taught us this one)

3. Confluence - centralising knowledge management - it's a workspace that is about content collaboration and management specifically for teams

4. Canva - best used for graphic design - their magic design is an AI-powered design tool built into Canva and uses prompts to bring ideas to life quickly.

5. Adobe Express - this is our go to, all-in-one design, photo, and video tool to create content. We especially love the closed captions feature.

6. ChatGPT - it saves time, helps automate tasks, allows for market research - it does however "elevate" a little too much for us, so be aware of that!

Since we started to implement these, they've shifted the way we do things. We're all about efficiency - streamlining communication, managing projects, and enhancing creativity. And this is how we do just that 👩‍💻

We find apps that integrate, test AI-related features (not featured here is Rebeca's favourite: Sidekick by Jigso), find ways to overcommunicate with each other, and ultimately track everything.

Our office is overflowing and we’re looking to create more space, our team is growing, our experience is stretching us but most of all, our hearts are bursting - these are some of the days we’ve been dreaming of. We’re grateful for all the clients who believe in us and invest in us!
