MEIRINGSKLOOF NATURE PARK

During the last weekend of May 2023, we camped at Meringskloof Nature Park. The park is nestled in a beautiful sandstone kloof, about 2 kilometers outside Fouriesburg in the Eastern part of the Free State. GO CAMPING! IT IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO.
Since I can remember I enjoyed camping. My first camping expedition was in my grandmother’s backyard and from there on it slowly progressed to hiking trips culminating in one of the most epic hikes that you can do in Southern Africa, the Fish River Canyon.
