stage name DA FLAVA 654,
is a Rapper,Perfoming Artist,Recording Artist,Singer,Trapper,Composer,Song Director,
Song Writer,Former Radio Personality on Merafong FM (Gauteng/Carletonville),a 2017 3rd Annual BFM Awards nominee for "Best New Comer" and 2021 3rd Anual BME Awards nominee for "Best Mbombela Artist Of The Year" from Mpumala
nga Nelspruit (South Africa).
1. DA FLAVA 654 started rapping at the age of fifteen (2010)
2. His stage name ‘DA FLAVA 654’ was given to him by his fans
3.From the beginning of his rap career, DA FLAVA 654
has been influenced by Hip Hop greats such as
American musicians like "Soujah boy,Lil Wayne and Drake".
4.DA FLAVA 654 also looks up to local musicians such as
"AKA,eMTee,Nasty C,A-Reece,K.O and Sjava" who he says still
inspire him because of their work ethic.
5.In 2015,He decided to release an EP because he was getting more airplays and interviews in some of the radio stations that are around Mpumalanga Nelspruit including Ligwalagwala FM(SABC).
6.The project is titled ‘Young New Star Rising EP’. It
features the one and only talented Rapper and Singer "Rain Queen".The EP has 6 tracks.The message behind the EP is the daily stress and challenges he encountered when trying to
make it in the music industry.
7. “Gigi LaMayne” ,which he dropped in 2016,
Was his first single after the EP to be on high rotation on radios and social media," Gigi LaMayne" stayed 6 Months on the local Top 20 Charts on BCR FM and it was number one for 4 consecutive weeks. In 2018, on the 3rd Of March he hosted his first ever show "Life After School" in Carletonville/GP. It was successful!.
