Tribute Poem to DJ Sumbody

Title: Sumbody

Hi, I'm sure you remember me, or have you forgotten me already?
How could you! So quickly, as if I was a nobody.
But its ok, life goes on, no hard feelings
Who really cares? Nobody?
I was a business man, but before the business, I was a man.
Before the Dj, I was Sumbody.
Before Sumbody I was somebody.
Sombody to sombody.

Oh man! What a night it was, the snare of the dark, how the tables turned with the turning of the clock hand.
From late night, to early morning, to my early grave.
From bright lights, to light out.
Like MJ's 'this is it', this was it for me.
From razor cuts, to being cut off.
From nice times, to nomore time. I'm out of time.
From V.S.O.Ps, to Rest In Peace

Sharp fede, its been good, I went out with a bang,
We don't die, we multiply!
That's what he said
Keep reading, but the end isn't fitting,
Like how it ended for me, sitting.
There's no conclusion
Just a sudden.

CV Tips

1. Remove ID number.

2. Remove Health Status.

3. Remove Hobbies, replace with skills and competencies. For example Hobby - Travelling
Comptency - Planning and Coordination.

Look at it this way, in order for you to travel, you will need to thoroughly plan for your trip, all those activities you do in preparation are considered planning and coordination to ensure a successful deliverable, which is you eventually going on the trip.

4. Remove Criminal Record (A company can do background checks).

5. Remove Marital Status.

6. Remove Number of dependants.

7. Remove the bold "Curriculum Vitae" at the top.

8. Justify and align your page.

10. Normally use Font Arial Size 11 (but you can customize)

A resume is used to apply for entry level job, graduate jobs in most cases and it is one page nothing more. Employers are not looking to comb through piles and piles of pages, if so they move right along.

A CV on the other hand can be more than 2 pages normally used to apply for higher or top senior positions, and it has more than one page due to the nature of these positions.

Your CV is what makes your employer want to meet with you, first impressions last!!

Gupta Brothers arrested in Dubai.

What we now wonder is, when they finally face trial, will they throw their SA political accomplices under the bus! Lets remember that the Gupta family amassed hundreds of millions in not bilions primarily from the South African government, this crime spree spans over 2 decades since they first landed in South Africa. The brothers first came to the country in the 90s and soon after they started doing business mainly with government.

As we all know today they the Gupta has faced multiples charges including state capture and money laundering, abd their arrest in Dubai is seen as a step in the right direction for the justice.

But the question remains, will they name drop when they get their day in court!

Heres something you didnt know.

If you are ever forced to sign a contract, which you did not intent to do, but you ended up having no other choice but to sign it. Heres what you can do:

On the dotted line where you put your signature, write "v.c" and the put your signature next to it.
"Vi Coactus" or "V.C." is used with a signature to indicate that the signer was under duress. The signer uses such marking to signal that the agreement was made under duress, and that it is their belief that it invalidates their signature.

Part 3

Ever wondered who the guy in the image is...

His name is Che Guevara, he was a prominent communist figure in the Cuban Revolution who went on to become a guerrilla leader in South America. Executed by the Bolivian army in 1967, he has since been regarded as a martyred hero by generations of leftists worldwide. Guevara’s image remains a prevalent icon of leftist radicalism and anti-imperialism.

The revolutionary leader was born Ernesto Guevara de la Serna on June 14, 1928, in Rosario, Argentina. After completing his medical studies at the University of Buenos Aires, Guevara became politically active first in his native Argentina and then in neighboring Bolivia and Guatemala. In 1955, he met Cuban revolutionary Fidel Castro and his brother Raúl while in Mexico.

Guevara became part of Fidel Castro’s efforts to overthrow the Batista government in Cuba. He served as a military advisor to Castro and led guerrilla troops in battles against Batista forces. When Castro took power in 1959, Guevara became in charge of La Cabaña Fortress prison. It is estimated that at least 144 people were executed on Guevara’s extra-judicial orders during this time.

Later, he became president of the Cuban national bank and helped to shift the country’s trade relations from the United States to the Soviet Union. Guevara addressed the United Nations General Assembly on December 11, 1964, where he also expressed support for the people of Puerto Rico. One year later, he was appointed minister of industry. Guevara left this post in 1965 to export the ideas of Cuba’s revolution to other parts of the world. In 1966, he began to try to incite the people of Bolivia to rebel against their government, but had little success. With only a small guerrilla force to support his efforts, Guevara was captured and killed on October 9, 1967 in La Higuera by the Bolivian army, which had been aided by CIA advisers.

Since his death, Guevara has become a legendary political figure. His name is often equated with rebellion, revolution, and socialism. Others, however, have remembered that he could be ruthless and ordered prisoners executed without trial in Cuba. Guevara’s life continues to be a subject of great public interest and been explored and portrayed in numerous books and films, including The Motorcycle Diaries (2004).

Power of social media ✊🏾.
This young man, Dumisani Ngobese who graduated recently at the University of UKZN just got a job this soon afterwards at Calvin And Family Group, this is after people started sharing his emotional pictures and his background. Read his full story below.

23-year-old Dumisani Ngobese could not hold back tears after he was conferred with a Bachelor of Arts degree at a ceremony held at the UKZN’s Westville Campus on Friday. Dumisani who is now pursuing an Honours degree said he was overcome with emotions as he reflected on what he said was a “long and difficult” journey.

He was raised by his maternal grandmother in Bhukhanana, a rural area outside eMpangeni. “My grandmother was a street vendor and the sole breadwinner in the house where there were over 10 children,” he said.

Unfortunately for Dumisani, his grandmother could not make the trip to see him graduate due to ill health. “It was going to be difficult for her because she is not well and she would have had to take about three taxis to get here. But my mother and my aunt were present at the graduation”.

While he could not afford to buy a suit for graduation, as many of his peers did, this was the ceremony he was not going to miss. “I could not afford to buy a suit but I just had to be there at graduation”.

Ever since his picture was published on UKZN social media platforms, Dumisani has received many calls from well-wishers.

“I am overwhelmed by the number of calls I have been getting so much so that I cannot respond to all of them. People have been phoning to wish me well while some have even pledged donations. I am grateful to all the people showing me love” he concluded. Source: UKZN page.

The sufferers curse

Almost everywhere you look, the black man sufferers. In history, white colonisers came to this continent and took the precious resources through the might of the sword and the smoking barrel of the gun. The black natives where concurred and displaced, moved from place to place; it didnt really matter where they ended up as long as it was to the convenience of their colonial masters. We were taken 9n to boats, froced to leave our homes, lands, families, our continent. Those of us who remained, we lost our freedom, those of us who left, we lost our freedoms and self ownership.

In the west, we became their ni***rs, in South Africa we because their kaffir. They hated us, yet they still took us and took from us.

Today the hatred continues and as black people we srill perpetuate our own oppression with our black leaders who continue to shake hands with our former colonial heads of state. The west stole artworks from Africa, they stole people from Africa, they kidnapped, r***d, murdered, now that they are nolonger they, they have made sure that we remain captured. If the West was remorseful for their atrocities then why wont they give up all they they stole, if the white man is remorseful they why wont they redistribute the land without compensation? Was the land not stolen? Were the people not displaced?. Why is it that no one has been held to account for crimes againt humanity, or are we still not human enough? Why has there been no reperations?

I always hear about the former Africa, how rich and successful we once were, the famous Mansa Musa; who was said to have been the richest man alive. But where then did we go wrong as a people. How did we fail ourselves, where did the wealth go and what arebdoing about it. Have we become too fixated with with having professions and working the 9-5 in a white man's establishment? What establishments of our own arewe building?

We are a multi-billion rands cosumer force yet we have not our own banks etc.

South Africa lost R1.5 trillion through corruption in just years between 2014 and 2019, according to the Unite 4 Mzansi's first case study titled State Capture 101.
Unite 4 Mzansi - an initiative led by the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (Saica) and business leaders - commissioned the Stellenbosch University's Centre for Complex Systems in Transition to analyse in much more depth how deep corruption ran in the country.

"It is broadly estimated that there was a whopping R1.5 trillion lost to our country between just 2014 and 2019. This is not to mention that some of our elected leaders continue to steal from the poor, hungry, sick and dying," said University of the Free State chancellor and one of the Unite 4 Mzansi advocates, Bonang Mohale.
Presenting the research results on Wednesday, Mohale said South Africa has made it look so easy to capture the state. While the Guptas are fresh in people's memories, the country has a long history in this, dating back to 1898 when Paul Kruger gave Sammy Marks the keys to the South African Mint Company to dip into the treasury pot. During apartheid, politicians and businesses struck many secret deals too, he said.

The back story between Intaba yase Dubai - imali eningi - and Ambitiouz.

Watch video for full story:

Just before lockdown started, Intaba was in Big zulu's studio with a producer called DR, there they decided to record a song but Intaba only put in a hook and then left the song for later. Then before he could go back to finish the song lockdown hit and Intaba could nolonger travel to the studio as he was emakhaya. He later signed with Ambitiouz and by then BigZulu had caught wind of the song he liked it and decided to finish it. BZ also put the late Ricky Rick on it as well and then later called Intaba about the song, by then the song was already complete and intaba didnt know it. Intaba having then signed to Mabitiouz thought it would be good practice to let his management handle the discussion surrounding his 7.5% stake of the song 'imali eningi'. Ambitious took over from him, the problems began when KFC struck a deal with Big Zulu and that deal is said to have potentially made a coulple of millions, and to this day Intaba has not received anything from that deal as a stake holder in the song. The 2nd issue he has with Ambitiouz is that they have been ripping him off in terms of his gig payments, Intaba sates that from the time he signed, Ambiouz began paying him 3.5k which later became 3.7k a month which he was told its for personal upkeep. However when he saw his gig reports, we would be booked for between R20k to R40k but the highest amount he would get paid was R11k and sometimes R6k.
Long story short, intaba now wants to leave Ambitiouz because of their differences he feels he can management himself just fine and that he wants to own his own work. The problem however is that he is still signed to Ambitiouz and owes them 5 more albums but he insists theres no way he is willing to record under ambitious anymore.

More than just a viral video, heres the back story.

His name is Nhlanhla, when he was interviewed he mentioned that when he heard that song coming on, he immediately went to the front where he was in full view of the dj who was playing "General". When General saw him singing his heart out, he then decided to record him on his phone and posted it on social media... the rest is history.

Nhlanhla related to the song in that he himself grew up poor and has been hustling all his life, and that song "let it rain" encourages and inspires him, nomatter how bad things can get, it will be well in time.
