SASSA grant administrator arrested for corruption in Rustenburg

A SASSA grant administrator, Boipelo Eugenia Ramafoko, 42, was arrested on Thursday, March 6, 2025, by the Hawks' Serious Corruption Investigation team on charges of corruption. The arrest follows an incident in December 2024, when a 63-year-old pensioner went to the SASSA office in Mogwase to apply for his old age pension grant.

📰🗞️MANKWENG PIG FARM MURDER CASE

Zachariah Johannes Olivier (60), Andriaan Rudolph De Wet (19), and William Musora (45) accused of allegedly killing two women and feeding their bodies to pigs. The trio faces multiple charges, including:

- Two counts of murder
- Attempted murder
- Defeating the administration of justice
- Possession of an unlicensed firearm
- Unlawful possession of ammunition
- Illegal immigration (applicable to William Musora, a Zimbabwean national)

The investigations into the matter have been completed, and the state has served the accused with an indictment. The case has been postponed to 4-15 August 2025, for trial at the Polokwane High Court.

Woke up early on Thursday last week, got my baby ready for school. she looked so beautiful in her uniform. I was so proud of her. I begged her dad to wait so I could take a picture of her. I didn't know this picture right here would be the last one I'd ever take of my sweet girl

4 hours later, the school called me, telling me my daughter's b0dy was in the m0rtuary. No explanation, no nothing. But someone from the school whispered to me that her teacher hit her on the head coz she was crying too much.

My baby fainted & died before they could even get her to the hospital. But the school is hiding the truth, saying she just fainted & died.

To the school administration, It's 4 days gone & still, nothing reasonable have been said. I demand the truth & a clear explanation of what really happened to my child, that teacher needs to be held accountable for what they did. Els, I'll be forced to xpoz your school. My daughter deserves justice

I demand to know what really happened to my only child! How could someone do this to me? 😭 She was just 3 yrs old😭😭why do this to my innocent little girl. Her whole life was ahead of her.
