Deluxe_Stix came into being in early 2015 –when Thato (Brown Deluxe) Nkabinde and percussionist Kutloano (LK_Deepstix) Monareng decided to work together. They had already been producing music separately for years prior. From the onset this partnership led to string of respectable production that have been lighting up the dance floors in Pretoria . Deluxe_Stix has enjoyed support from big named south African DJs and party goers alike.They have worked with names such as Louis Lunch, Calvin Fallo , Liquid Metsi, award-winning vocalist Akhona, to name a few.
Pretoria (Tshwane) is known as the capital of house music in South Africa and Deluxe_Stix are trying to raise the cities flag!
The duo is currently working on their debut album which is to be released in the 1st half of 2019. Their first year in the music industry has been fruitful with lessons learnt along the way.They have managed to anticipate the different sounds that appeal to the dance floor j***y and their music is a testament to that.
On stage, Deluxe_Stix makes use of vocalists and keyboard players to support their DJ + Percussionist act. They are rapidly gaining respect for their live acts.
