I have visited numerous gyms in Townships and noticed a recurring issue among them. The owners seem to lack seriousness about their business. They do not maintain their equipment, nor do they replace broken ones. Even simple tasks such as greasing the machines and ensuring a dust-free environment are neglected.

The cost of using Township gyms is similar to that of well-known gym franchises such as Gym Company, Virgin Active Red, and Viva gym. However, the latter gyms ensure that their equipment is in good condition and maintain a clean environment.
It is frustrating when people complain, and gym owners react in anger. Paying customers have a right to complain and expect good service. With 200 members, a gym can make over 50k per month, which should be enough to maintain the gym.

For fitness enthusiasts, poor equipment is unacceptable. That's why many people from Townships prefer to train at Virgin Active, Gym Company, and Viva gym. These gyms provide excellent service at a similar cost to Township gyms.
