THE FOLLOWING POSITION IS AVAILABLE AT SIZA WATER
DRIVER/MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT (REF: NET/01/2024
The successful applicant is required to perform the following key functions, amongst other duties:
• Operate and care for TLB, Crane truck, Vacuum truck and Water Tanker.
• Perform standby duties.
• Safely perform excavations.
• Operate hand tools.
• Operate giggajet and assist with unblocking or flushing of sewers.
• Operate smoke machine and use of pressure gauges.
• Housekeeping
• Complete and submit timesheet, maintenance schedules and other administrative paperwork timeously.
• Comply with SHEQ systems and procedures.
• Assist with other related functions within the Network.
The applicant is required to have:
• Matric
• A valid code 14 driver’s licence with PDP.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in code 14 driving duties including TLB, Crane truck and Water Tanker.
• Ability to be trained on minor maintenance and monitoring.
