Los Angeles is currently engulfed in a ferocious inferno — the biggest wildfire the city has faced in decades. Every firefighter in the region is either on duty or on high alert, fighting tirelessly to contain the flames that threaten homes, lives, and cherished landmarks.

🔴Welkom Hit by Rare Rope Tornado, Buildings Damaged🔴

Welkom residents experienced an unexpected and intense weather event on Sunday, 05 January 2025, when what appears to be a rope tornado struck the city at approximately 12:15 p.m. The powerful winds caused significant structural damage to several buildings, leaving a trail of destruction.

Fortunately, no injuries have been reported at this time, and emergency response teams are currently assessing the extent of the damage. Authorities have urged residents to remain cautious and avoid damaged areas while cleanup efforts are underway.

Rope tornadoes, characterized by their thin, narrow funnel shape, are typically short-lived but can still pack powerful winds capable of causing extensive damage. Yesterday's event serves as a stark reminder of the unpredictable nature of severe weather.

Organized by The International Bikers Life Matters Association & Nine Legacy Petroleum, the event kicked off in Potchefstroom, bringing together motorcycle enthusiasts for a day of camaraderie and philanthropy.

As the sun rose, bikers revved their engines and hit the road, making stops along the route to engage with fellow motorists. Riders distributed informative pamphlets, raising awareness about motorcycle safety and the importance of sharing the road.
