Hey wassup. I have a new logo. I hope you like it. It took me a while but I finally understood the importance of having a personal brand in the social media age.

I always focused on...
"THE COMPANY!"
"THE COMPANY LOGO!"
"THE COMPANY OFFICES"

So you may remember this channel by its previous name "DVC Studios." If you look back on the timeline, you will see that even the status posts have a "corporate/collectivism" funk. That was the mindset I had.

I guess I thought that "we" sounds better than "I". "We" kinda suggests that we have a lot of meat. We are a gang gang. Squad deep! Special Forces! Lions on the prowl! Killers on the loose! Lol I'm sorry, ADHD makes my writing funny & wonky sometimes. I digress!

But as time on, I realised that I personally, was growing even faster than the company am building. I started podcasting & people started knowing my name. Then one day I finally became convinced to switch things up & put myself forward.

I was watching a video of Collin & Samir as they were talking about building a brand. Samir made mention of how social media audiences really don't gravitate towards labels, brands & corporations. And that is because "people" want a "person" so sort of "socialise" with on the internet.

THE INTERNET IS A SOCIETY & "PEOPLE" WANNA SOCIALISE ON SOCIAL MEDIA.

So it finally hit me. Since then I changed my YouTube Company channel from "DVC Studios" to "I am Neo."

I've also designed a dope logo as you can see. And I also have a dope website.
