Katleho Moloi, also known as Skatl1 Beats, is a talented music producer hailing from Johannesburg, specifically the vibrant township of Katlehong. With a passion for creating captivating beats and melodies, Skatl1 Beats has made a name for himself in the music industry. Having worked with renowned artists such as Flashikumkani, Kraizie, Mazol, Spirit, and Ceelowsta, Skatl1 Beats has proven his ver

satility and ability to produce music across various genres, including hip-hop and Afro music. His collaborations with these big names have showcased his exceptional talent and unique sound. Skatl1 Beats was raised by both parents, who played a significant role in shaping his love for music. However, tragedy struck in 2017 when his father passed away, leaving a void in his life. Despite this heartbreaking loss, Skatl1 Beats found solace and inspiration in music, using it as an outlet for his emotions. In 2014, Skatl1 Beats embarked on his musical journey, honing his skills and perfecting his craft. His dedication and hard work paid off when he joined the group called Black MPL from 2017 to 2019. This experience allowed him to collaborate with fellow talented artists and further expand his musical horizons. In 2021, Skatl1 Beats signed a three-year contract with the record label Maze Music Entertainment, marking a significant milestone in his career. During his time under this label, he released the highly acclaimed Fortnight music series, consisting of six tracks released every two weeks for three months in 2022. This project showcased Skatl1 Beats' ability to consistently deliver high-quality music and captivate his audience. Continuing his streak of successful releases, Skatl1 Beats dropped a single titled "Easy" in collaboration with Ceelowsta and Dtone. This track further solidified his reputation as a talented producer and garnered positive feedback from fans and critics alike. In 2023, Skatl1 Beats released another season of the Fortnight music series, featuring six tracks that showcased his growth and evolution as an artist. This project further cemented his position as a force to be reckoned with in the music industry. Skatl1 Beats' exceptional talent and dedication to his craft have not gone unnoticed. In 2022, he was nominated for the prestigious MAMA Awards in the Producer of the Year category, a testament to his skill and influence in the music scene. Currently, Skatl1 Beats has two pending projects in the works, promising even more exciting music for his fans. With his unique sound and ability to create captivating beats, Skatl1 Beats continues to push boundaries and make a name for himself in the industry. His platform is ever-expanding, and his contributions to the music world are sure to leave a lasting impact.
