South Africans have raised a remarkable R300,000 in just five days toward supporting Nico Botha as he bravely faces metastatic Ewing sarcoma, a rare and aggressive bone cancer. The generous donations will lift a very heavy financial burden for the Botha family and greatly impact Nico’s journey.

Nico Botha is a young man diagnosed with metastatic Ewing sarcoma. People have raised R300,000 toward his medical expenses on BackaBuddy.

After a month of heartbreaking separation, a miracle has reunited Hunter with his loving dog dad. The emotional reunion was the perfect happy ending to a collective effort, with Hunter’s dad generously donating the reward money to the Edenvale SPCA to cover the vet bills and Hunter’s microchip.

A dog named Hunter had been reported missing by his owner in December. Edenvale SPCA received reports of a dog that happened to be Hunter.
