Happy Halloween All.
According to the History Channel, the tradition of Halloween originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts. In the 8th century, Pope Gregory III designated November 1 as a time to honour all saints. Soon, All Saints Day incorporated some of the traditions of Samhain.

The evening before was known as All Hallows Eve, and later Halloween. Over time, Halloween evolved into a day of activities like trick-or-treating, carving jack-o-lanterns, festive gatherings, donning costumes and eating treats.

Well, then meet Milo the Vampire hunter or vampire slayer who specialises in finding vampires, and sometimes other supernatural creatures, and then slay them.

What is heritage to me?
It is many things, starting with the core of who I am, and that takes me back to who brought me here. My parents are both late, but they will always be remembered, because they raised me. They are part of my heritage, and I am part of theirs.
Scholars say heritage is about our ethnic roots, cultural teachings and personal experiences. I think that is spot on, as it is about who you are and where you have come from to get to where you are today. For me, my heritage has shaped my values, my personality, my goals, and much more.
And the key achievements in my life are my children and my grandchild. As John F Kennedy said,
“Children are the world’s most valuable resource and its best hope for the future.”
