Final Draw for the TotalEnergies CAF Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations, Côte d’Ivoire 2025 Concludes in Cairo. The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) conducted the Final Draw for the TotalEnergies CAF Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations, Côte d’Ivoire 2025 on Thursday, 13 February 2025, at CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.

The draw event was attended by CAF executives and invited guests with former Mali international Adama Coulibaly and Senegal legend Souleymane Camara acting as draw assistants.

The tournament, set to take place from 26 April to 18 May 2025, will feature 13 teams competing for continental glory and four qualification spots for the FIFA U-20 World Cup Chile 2025.

The draw produced exciting group stage fixtures, with heavyweight clashes expected from the opening rounds as record title holders Nigeria were among three former winners placed in the same group.

TotalEnergies CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations, Morocco 2025 Final Draw reveals exciting fixture line-up The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) conducted the official Final Draw for the TotalEnergies CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 on Thursday, 13 February at CAF Headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.

Conducted by former Mali international Adama Coulibaly and ex-Senegalese star Souleymane Camara, the draw officially mapped out what promises to be another exciting edition of the youth competition set to be contested by 16 African nations between 30 March – 19 April, 2025 in Morocco.

The draw outcome saw tournament hosts Morocco headlining an interesting Group A consisting of Uganda, Tanzania and Zambia.

Bronze medallists at the last edition held in Algeria, Burkina Faso will be up against UNIFFAC 1 (Champions of UNIFFAC Qualifiers), 2015 runners-up South Africa, as well former champions Egypt in Group B.

Reigning champions Senegal, who edged Morocco in the last edition’s tightly contested final, will kick off their title defense in Group C against 2009 winners Gambia, Somalia and 2013 bronze medallists Tunisia.

The Final Draw for the CAF Women’s Futsal Africa Cup of Nations, Morocco 2025
On Thursday, the headquarters of the Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) in Cairo hosted a historic event: the draw for the group stages of the inaugural CAF Women’s Futsal Africa Cup of Nations.

Scheduled for 22-30 April in Morocco, this first edition marks a major step forward in the development of women’s futsal on the continent.

The nine teams involved now know the composition of their groups and the path that awaits them in their quest for the first continental title.

The draw has some mouthwatering fixtures, opposing teams with varied styles of play but all full of ambition.

Host country Morocco has been drawn in Group A alongside Cameroon and Namibia.

Pool B will feature Angola, Egypt and Guinea, while Group C contains Madagascar, Tanzania and Senegal.

The procedure for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), Morrocco 2025 Final Draw has been revealed ahead of the ceremony to take place on Monday, 27 January in the Mohammed V National Theatre in Rabat at 19h00 local time (18h00 GMT/ 20h00 Cairo time).

The 24 qualified teams will be drawn into six groups each containing four sides, with host nation Morocco placed at the head of Group A.

Current TotalEnergies CAF AFCON champions Cote d’Ivoire will also head one of the other five pools as they sit in Pot 1.

The remainder of the qualified teams will be placed in Pots 1-4 based on their FIFA World Ranking as of 19 December, 2024, and as follows:

Pot 1: Morocco (A1), Senegal, Egypt, Algeria, Nigeria and Cote d’Ivoire

Pot 2: Cameroon, Mali, Tunisia, South Africa, DR Congo and Burkina Faso

Pot 3: Gabon, Angola, Zambia, Uganda, Equatorial Guinea and Benin

Pot 4: Mozambique, Comoros, Tanzania, Sudan, Zimbabwe and Botswana

The procedure of the draw will be:

The ball of Morocco will be drawn first from Pot 1, and it will go to position A1
The balls from Pot 4 will be drawn sequentially to positions A4, B4, C4, D4, E4, F4.
The balls from Pot 3 will be drawn sequentially to positions A3, B3, C3, D3, E3, F3.
The balls from Pot 2 will be drawn sequentially to positions A2, B2, C2, D2, E2, F2.
The remaining balls from Pot 1 (minus Morocco) will be drawn sequentially to positions B1, C1, D1, E1, F1.
The top two teams in each pool as well as the four best third-placed teams will qualify for the round of 16 at the TotalEnergies CAF AFCON 2025.

Exciting TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN) Draw delivers some thrilling encounters The Draw for the finals of the TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN) Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania 2024 was staged in Nairobi, Kenya on Wednesday, 15 January and has delivered some exciting encounters for the tournament that will be played in August 2025.

Kenya were the seeds as hosts in Group A and have been drawn with two-time winners Morocco and DR Congo, as well as Angola and Zambia, in a pool packed with past champions and quality teams.

CAF postpones the TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship (“CHAN”) Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda 2024 to August 2025

The Confédération Africaine de Football (“CAF”) today announced the postponement of the TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship (“CHAN”) Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda 2024 to August 2025.

Good progress has been made in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda with the construction and upgrading of stadiums, training fields, hotels, hospitals and other infrastructure and facilities for the hosting of a successful TotalEnergies African Nations Championship (“CHAN”) Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda 2024.

However the CAF Technical and Infrastructure experts some of whom have been based in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda, have advised CAF that more time is required to ensure that the infrastructure and facilities, are at the levels, necessary for hosting a successful TotalEnergies African Nations Championship (“CHAN”) Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda 2024

CAF increases the Prize Money by 75% of the Winner of the TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship (“CHAN”) Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda 2024 and the total Prize Money of the CHAN by 32 %. The Confédération Africaine de Football (“CAF”) announced today that the Prize Money of the Winner of the TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship (“CHAN”) Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda 2024 has been increased by 75% and the Winner will now receive USD 3.5 million.

CAF also announced that the total Prize Money of the CHAN Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda 2024 has been increased to USD 10.4 million which is an increase of 32%.

The President of CAF Dr Patrice Motsepe said: “We are excited about the upcoming TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship (“CHAN”) Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda 2024 and have significantly increased the Prize Money of the Winner to USD 3.5 million which is an increase of 75%.

The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) conducted the official draw of the CAF U-17 Girls Integrated Football Tournament (GIFT) Tanzania 2025 on Saturday, 4 January in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Another ground-breaking initiative in CAF’s ongoing Women’s Football Development strategy, the inaugural competition will see eight (8) clubs from across the CECAFA Zone contesting the title in Dar es Salaam.
