Super excited and quite honestly pretty damn surreal to write here that my latest release Orchestrations is up on this year’s Grammy® ballot for the Best Contemporary Instrumental Album category. The record took almost a third of my life to piece together, and seeing it up there for consideration feels HUGE. I couldn't find another word to articulate my feels. HUGE it will have to be. With caps. HUGE. Thrice even. But for real 🫀

If you're a voter and the music resonates, I’d be super grateful for your consideration here 🙏 I climbed a few mountains bringing this work into the world. It didn't always look pretty. But it's here now. Super grateful for the endearing spirit and for those around me cheering me on. For 12 years 😂

Mostly, I’m just in awe of everyone who was around for the ride in the seemingly endless creation of this body of work. Rollercoaster much? Suckers for pain it would seem. Myself included. Sigh! Onward.

The narrative on fatherhood in South Africa is not as bleak as imagined, as fathers, social fathers (uncles, brothers, neighbours, stepfathers) we're here, showing up, not only for the kids but for ourselves, each other and society. We'll repeat that narrative until it's our social truth.

We're fathers on a mission to change the narrative of absenteeism. We're here, you're here. Let's show up for each other and our children, and build a society we can be proud of. We're coming to Cape Town 04 October 2025 hosting one of our interactive workshops... Young men, old men, fathers, uncles, step fathers... You're all invited.

Thank you to everyone who came through to our shows in Cape Town... Much love! It was beautiful to experience your beautiful city and all it has to offer. To the venues, Selective Live and The Commons Muizenberg, it was great... Let's keep at it, the work you do is appreciated. To everyone else who contributed to the shows being a success, thank you for believing. And to the the awesome audiences, what a blessing you are to share your hard earned money on our talent, we do not take that for granted ❤️.
