Our Story

Campus TV is a student TV network, a subsidiary of IU PPREMIUM TELEVISION NETWORK PTY LTDSOUTH AFRICA that was formed as student organisation at The University of Johannesburg. The institution was founded by Nelson Moropana in 2011 as UJ Campus Film Makers. The institution evolved into what is currently known as UJ Campus Media, responsible for organising, events, film screenings and all social events across the campus.

CTV is a modern version of the evolution of both (Campus Film Makers & UJ Campus Media) with a vision of becoming a voice to the connected students, on campus and off campus. The institution has won several awards like the best new comer in 2011, and so continues to host social gathering on campus.

Campus TV is headed by Innocent Mabuza and operates as a subsidiary of The Brand Studio, a creative and brand development agency founded by Nelson Moropara in 2016. The company is responsible for all business related operations conducted by CTV.
