Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed guests, and fellow South Africans,

We are delighted to stand before you today, as we reflect on the success of the Miss Hillbrow pageant 2024, which took place this past Saturday, the 30th of November, at the iconic Windybrow Arts Centre.

The event was a resounding success, with our talented finalists showcasing their skills, passion, and dedication to their craft. Tonight, we celebrated not only their beauty and talent, but also the strength, resilience, and determination of women everywhere.

We would like to extend my sincerest gratitude to our sponsors, partners, and supporters, without whom this event would not have been possible.

To our finalists, we salute you. Your courage, passion, and dedication to your craft are an inspiration to us all.

And to our newly crowned Miss Hillbrow 2024 Tumelo Lehloka, congratulations! May your reign be marked by wisdom, compassion, and a commitment to empowering women and girls in our community.
