Hello business owners!
I am Nomshado Valerie Kubheka the MD of Qhawekazi Media. I have gone unannounced for
some time now because of Imposter syndrome. A lot of the time as women, we take a backseat to things not because we aren't capable but because we doubt our voices and our presence.
Well, no more! As I move forward:
- I am defining my terms before someone else defines them for me.
- I am more intentional with the way I present myself, the way I communicate, and the way I get things done, and then I plan to move forward.
- I am learning to be fluent in the language of power.
- Lastly, I am learning to be more self-aware and move accordingly.
Shirley Osborne once said, "It is up to women, then, as we advance in the power structure and economic institutions of the world,
no matter how we acquire that advancement, to reach back, reach down, reach out, and embrace other women, pull them in, give them a hand up."
Qhawekazi Media was born out of the need to help female-led businesses digitally. If ever there was a time in history that cried out for women to lead, that time is now.
I am Nomshado Valerie Kubheka the MD of Qhawekazi Media.
