I hear the whole “it’s so difficult to collaborate with creatives in this city” chat but Honestly, I think it's because we seek validation from those “above” us. We get hurt when they don't acknowledge us because of silly reasons like we lack a massive following or aren't deemed “cool” enough or whatever . What if, instead, we turned to each other, collaborated as “small creatives”?
But nah we'd rather play the “big creative” to someone in our lane or even to someone who admires our work, only to later complain about creatives in Jozi being stuck up and not wanting to work together 😅 So let’s all just keep quiet? And keep moving with whoever you want to move with for whatever reasons it may be
