This past Saturday marked the Finale of the Siya Norman Eclectic Groove Sessions (SNEGS), and what an incredible experience it has been! From August 2024 to now, we’ve successfully hosted six unforgettable events, bringing people together to celebrate music, art, and connection.

SNEGS was born out of a desire to create a unique platform where music lovers could come together, groove, and share in a community-driven vibe that celebrates the diversity of sounds and cultures. It was more than just an event—it was a movement to showcase the power of local talent, bring vibrant energy to Hermanus, and uplift the Overstrand’s entertainment and tourism scene.

To every supporter who showed up, grooved with us, and made these nights magical—you are the heartbeat of this concept. To the artists who brought the fire to our stages, the promoters who helped spread the word, the team who worked tirelessly behind the scenes, and the venue that gave us a home for this vision—we are endlessly grateful for you all. And let’s not forget the media teams, transport providers, and vendors who contributed to the experience.

This Finale may have closed one chapter, but we promise this is not the end of SNEGS. The energy, love, and support have inspired us to dream even bigger. Keep an eye out—more announcements are coming sooner than you think. Let’s keep the spirit of SNEGS alive and continue creating unforgettable moments together!

Happy New Year, Fam!

2024 has been a year of growth, lessons, and incredible milestones. From advancing in my career to passing my studies and rebranding the Siya Norman brand, this year has shown me the power of hard work and consistency.

Starting the Siya Norman Eclectic Groove Sessions and hosting 5 successful events has been a dream come true, and I’m so excited for the finale this Saturday! The journey hasn’t been without challenges, but through every high and low, I’ve grown stronger and more focused.

To my family, friends, team, and every supporter who believed in me—Camagu. Makwande. Thank you for being part of this journey.

As we step into 2025, I’m ready to keep learning, growing, and creating magic. Let’s make it a year to remember!

Just touched down in the Western Cape, and my friends are hosting a Private New Year’s Eve Party at a beautiful farm called Tevrede, Solitaire Area (between Shaws Pass and Tesselaarsdal).

Planning to take it easy today, but who knows? I might just lose myself on the dance floor and dance straight into 2025!

It’s been a busy time for Siya Norman, with back-to-back bookings across the Eastern and Western Cape, and we’re working hard to keep improving how we connect with you.
