'n Vrou van Heidelberg is gister (23 Desember) in Heidelberg Mall beroof, nadat sy waarskynlik deur een of ander toksiese stof bedwelm is.
Sy het hierna, skynbaar gewillig, haar handsak en bankpinnommer aan die rowers oorhandig. Hulle is ook met haar hangertjie en foon weg.
Hierdie is nie die eerste insident van hierdie aard nie. 'n Paar jaar gelede het twee bekende vroue van die dorp na vore gekom, waar hulle in soortgelyke gevalle beroof is.
Die vrou wat gister beroof is, was in een van die winkels toe sy deur drie vroue genader is. Twee van die verdagtes het met haar begin gesels en raad gevra. 'n Derde vrou met 'n kepsie met die betrokke winkel se naam daarop, het haar by hulle aangesluit. Die slagoffer het gedink sy praat met 'n werknemer van die winkel en het haar gevra om die ander twee te help.
'n Man het haar ook genader en gevra of sy parfuum wil koop, waarna hy die 'parfuum' in haar gesig gespuit het. Hierna kon sy niks onthou nie. Toe sy weer besef wat om haar aangaan, was sy in 'n ander deel van die sentrum met net haar karsleutel in haar broeksak.
Op die veiligheidskameras kon gesien word hoe die slagoffer skynbaar 'gewillig' met die verdagtes saamloop en gesels.
Mense, wees asseblief waaksaam en oplettend oor wat om jou aangaan en moenie met vreemdes gesels nie. Indien moontlik, moenie alleen jou inkopies gaan doen nie.
Nadat die vrou by haar sinne gekom het, is die hulp van die Heidelberg Volunteer Medics ingeroep, wat haar dadelik bygestaan het.

A total of 1256 vehicles passed through the De Hoek Toll Plaza between 09:00 and 10:00 this morning (December 14) as Gauteng residents made their way to their various holiday destinations.
The attached video, taken at around 10:30, shows a steady flow of traffic passing our town on the N3 South.

Motorists are advised to avoid the R549 Vaal Dam road at this time due to protest action taking place near to Obed Nkosi.
The road is being blocked by protestors who are believed to be aggrieved about the current water situation, with some residents saying they haven't had a supply of water in their taps for nearly three weeks.
Members of the SANDF, SAPS, the Heidelberg CPF and Afriforum Heidelberg are all on scene and monitoring the situation.
