Bay Satellite Services cc was founded and registered in 1999 and is owned and managed by Trev Laity.
Trev's related technical experience began whilst serving with the SAN where he studied radio& radar achieving an N4 certificate. Employed by Pioneer, Telefunken and Grundig, collectively between 1983 and 1994, as a qualified AV electronics technician, both in the workshop and the field, Trev progressed to Workshop Manager which cemented his technical experience in a wide variety of product & training. Trev has also successfully completed a Business Management Diploma, with a First Class Pass.
Initially, prior to the registration of Bay Satellite Services cc, the business was founded as a repair center for audio & visual equipment to private clients as well as small repair shops in and around the South Peninsula. This was followed by the entry, of the business, into the terrestrial aerial installation market following a demand by existing clients. Becoming actively involved since the inception of satellite television in 1995, Bay Satellite was awarded accreditation status in 2001 by Multichoice for DSTV installations.
Our main suppliers of electronic equipment are Space Television who support us with advice on technical queries of new product and sales back-up. We only install quality products and use the following brands: VISIOSAT, SPAUN & ALCAD among others
