MY DAUGHTER IS SUFFERING

Good Afternoon my Clan.

Do you still take your kids for holidays ?

As we continue with Activism month ,this morning my hardworking secretary connected me to a call that really disturbed me and left me shattered especially that it involves a little child.

When I said "Hello", Bana Brenda (Not real names) was crying loudly with a lot of pain,I could sense panic and hopelessness, so I told her I would wait and would be so humbled to hear her out. She cried for some minutes and told me she needed a few minutes as she felt a dark heavy lamp on her throat.I told her I was ready to wait and this made her a bit calm.

Bana Brenda who is a single mother of a beautiful daughter aged 7 started narrating to me, during the school closures she decided to take her daughter for a holiday at her mother's place. She wanted to use the time her daughter was away to plan her wedding properly as it was giving her a lot of stress and anxiety.

Unfortunately her mother had brought 2 of her relatives from the village as they wanted to look for employment. Making the men 5 at her mother's house as two of her brothers sons where also there.

Sadly when they found a chance last week the two men from the village aged 29 and 34 severely defiled the 7 year old, luckily her grandmother quickly realized she was r***d as she couldn't walk or sit properly. She asked the little girl and she said her two uncles defiled her. When she asked the two men why they had done such a monstrous act they threatened to kill her and r**e her too , and being an old woman she was so scared and she kept quiet and thought little Brenda would heal before her mother came to pick her up.

When the two men heard that I was traveling to pick my baby they ran away and are still on the run. When I reached my mother's place I realised that my Brenda who is always so bubbly and full of life did not run to hug me like always but was so reserved sited in a corner just staring at the wall.

She did not want to talk to me or eat what i brought her, she was just staring at the wall. So I asked my mother what was happening and she told me what happened.I was so devastated my BP shot I almost died I couldn't swallow anything and I blamed my mother and cursed the men who defiled my daughter. I left my mother's house without saying bye because I was so hurt and developed so much hatred for her.

When we reached home I realised that my daughter was smelling so I went to bath her what I saw made me want to take doom and just kill myself. She was smelling because every time she went to the toilet f***s would also come out of the vigina she also had a lot of smelly pus coming out of her vigina. I was so so shattered and as a woman I felt sorry for my child. I quickly took her to the hospital where the doctor told me that she has severe VIGINA FISTULA and must be operated on.

The thought of my child in the theater made me fail to eat or drink anything today i want to carry the pain on her behalf but i don't know how to, am very much confused and some moments i don't even know what year it is, what month or date we are in, i fell like am becoming mad. I also stopped seeing properly my health just drastically dropped I feel weak and my knees cant carry me properly am so broken.

To make things even note worse the confusion made me have a serious fight with my fiance who has since called off the wedding. I feel so alone and cursed. How come others enjoy their lives and I have to suffer all the time.

Honourable as we speak am so scared that my daughter will die during the operation or from the sexually transmitted infection she got from the r**e and I look at her and think she is maybe rotten inside. Though the police are hunting down the rapists I still feel like committing su***de because the doctor said we go back after 3 months to check for HIV. Please am on my knees help me am dying inside and am going mad.

We talked for hours and help has already reached her and her daughter. I have also asked her if I can reach Brenda's grandmother as she too may be traumatised.

R**e also often aggravated by the thrusting of objects into the va**na, can result in a hole between a woman’s va**na and bladder or re**um, or both, resulting in the leaking of urine and/or f***s.

As parents and Guardians we must critically and seriously analyse the place we are taking our children especially the girl child for holidays. From experience of talking to so many victims most of them where r***d or defiled when they went for holidays.

R**e is happening more in homes than outside, guard your children jealously.
