Estcourts very own broadcasting radio station soon to be launched on 89.9 FM- Estcourt, Colenso, Winterton, Bergville, Imbabazane, Mooiriver, Weenen (KZN)>

UKhahlamba Community Radio 89.9 FM also referred to as UCR89.9FM found on the frequency 89.9FM. It is a project of Uncedo Community Organisation (NPO) intended for the benefit of the community. UCO was established in 2012. UCR89.9FM will be the first broadcasting radio station in the vicinity of Umtshezi reaching most of UThukela and Mooi Mpofana districts. UCR89.9FM will launch in January/Februar

y 2015. The project has plans to prioritise on the local community and aims to address issues relating to youth development, socio-economic development, skills and education upgrade, unemployment alleviation, health and STI awareness, crime, sport, arts & culture, religious discrimination and dialogue, gender and disability equality, political and traditional intolerance and obligation, talent and aptitude identification, promotion of local content through the radio communication media. UCR89.9FM aims to interact and engage all sectors of the community and has an obligation to address any challenges and achievements emanating from the local community. UCR89.9FM will be the voice and ears of UThukela. "The Complete Mind And Soul Food"
