Umlalazi Youth Radio is excited to invite you to join our team! As required by ICASA, we are establishing a comprehensive structure to obtain a frequency license. We are seeking individuals to fill the following roles:
- Board Members: Oversee the overall strategy and direction of the radio station, ensuring compliance with ICASA regulations and making key decisions.
- PR Manager: Develop and implement a public relations strategy to promote the radio station and maintain a positive image.
- Administration Manager: Oversee the day-to-day operations, manage finances, and ensure the station's administrative tasks are completed efficiently.
- Programs Manager: Develop and schedule programming content, ensuring a diverse and engaging range of shows.
- News Manager/News Editor: Oversee news production, edit news content, and ensure accurate and timely news broadcasting.
- Production Manager: Coordinate and produce radio content, including shows, interviews, and events.
- Social Media Manager: Develop and implement a social media strategy to engage with listeners and promote the radio station.
- Sales and Marketing Manager: Develop and execute a sales and marketing strategy to secure advertising revenue and promote the station.
- HR Manager: Manage human resources, including recruitment, training, and staff development.
- Presenters: Host shows, engage with listeners, and create entertaining and informative content.
