C-tone Productions is geared towards hosting what has been coined as the “Sunday Chill of the year” with its star-studded line-up of artists from a variety of music genres at Jan Smuts Stadium on Sunday, December.

The 6th Annual Afrika Unite Cultural International Festival (AUCIF) was originally planned for 27 September at the same venue, but due to the Chippa United Premier Soccer League fixture, the event was moved to a new date in December.

Event founder and Director Luzuko Khohli said the change of dates came with a number of financial challenges, “you must understand that we had already paid artist deposit fees, booked flights, accommodation and paid service providers as well. Some artists were unfortunately not available on this new date of 15 December, and this meant we had to forfeit the deposits” said Khohli. It did not end there for the organizer, changing flight and accommodation dates also came with additional fees that were not budgeted for.

Speaking about revamped line-up, event Media Manager Sinethemba Gayiza alluded that the “change of dates paved the way for the inclusion of artists like Semito, Lloyiso, Amapiano sensation Scotts Maphuma, Mlindo the Vocalist and local gospel DJ Groovie Christ”.

Tickets for the event are still available at Webtickets and Shoprite and Checkers stores including at Computicket website at R200 general. Patrons are reminded that no bottles and dangerous weapons are allowed at the venue, which opens at 12pm and the event starts at 3pm until late.

“We urge all entertainment lovers and admires of live entertainment to come watch Dumza Maswana, Nkosazana Daughter, Jaziel Brothers, Nathi Mankayi, Lloyiso, Scotts Maphuma and to dance to the religious grooves of Groovie Christ at this year’s AUCIF, deemed Sunday Chill of the year” said Khohli.

Lloyiso Graced the Africa Unite Stage 2023! A true East London crowd favourite, he serenaded the audience with his soulful voice, leaving everyone captivated.
