What can be said about the Toyota Corolla 20v that hasn't already been said about other Japanese 90's to early 2000's sport cars.

Economical, good power to weight ratio, high revving naturally aspirated engines.

This February, Auto Rush brings you 1 QIK 20 - ZN, one of the few boosted 20v's roaming the streets of Durban.

The blacktop 20v was fitted with A 4AGZE on the bottom end to accommodate the added boost. If you're ever tired of hearing the TB28 turbo spool up, there's a sound system in the boot with quite a kick.

Actually, there's two kickers...

The 20v is capable of a 13 flat quarter mile as a full street trim and sound in the boot!

From the outside, its still old school as hell, I mean its even rocking white wall wheels for Christ sake. How much more do you want to throw it back?

Rajesh's 1694 Ford Cortina Mk1 is perfect for those slow-cooked weekend cruises.

The Cortina is fitted with a 1600 Kent AX motor running dual Weber 40mm side drafts and upgraded cams. It runs on a 5 speed gearbox and is as reliable as she is gorgeous.

"We drove the car around 625km return trip to Drakensberg and back for the previous Ford Fest. The car runs beautifully," Rajesh said.
