So in honour of Men’s Mental Health Month, this one goes out to all the dads, husbands, brothers, sons, and every man out there.

The pressures that the world places on us as men is immense. We’re expected to meet these high social standards and we often feel like we are failing when we don’t hit the mark.

Just life itself is hard enough. We’re expected to provide, protect, keep our emotions in check, and be vulnerable all at the same time.

Every day, we as men carry around this burden. Whether it be financial, whether it be family, friends, the places we work in and most of all the society we live in… We all know how hard life as a man really is.

So this goes out to all the men: you are loved, appreciated, supported, and cared for. Even on your worst days, someone is proud of you. I am proud of you! Proud of you for getting up every single day, putting on a smile, and doing your best.

Social media has created an unrealistic image of the perfect man, showing only his wins but never his failures, his emotions, his hardships, or even his daily struggles.

Please, don’t think for one second that you’re less of a man. Without you, the world wouldn’t be the same.

So to all the men struggling out there, remember this, some people are just better at hiding it. Nobody’s life is perfect. From one man to another, I love you. Keep going, I believe in you!

So please just keep giving me one more day and one more after that. Never give up. ❤️
