Dbnked Records Independent Record Label When a dream is not just a dream. When sleep is infrequent because the prospects of reality hit you
harder each time. Dreamchasers.

When its said and done because that is all that was ever needed. That is when the
most basic conditions are met to begin building something great. That’s when people come together to
give life to a yet unseen vision, to chase what all men chase- greatness. That is who Dbnkd is. Primarily, we’re a collective of artists from the Durban Upper
Highway area, albeit born in different parts of the city.

Our mutual love of music and our willingness
to push the envelope and explore sound invariably introduced us to each other. Making music together
banded us together, and our self-belief and determination sees us taking on the world, shaping our
lives as we have envisioned them. The label consists of rappers: Lwazi Dladla aka “Looney D”, Mfundo Maphumulo “MM/Magical
Monkey”, producers: Thobani Dlamini aka “T.L”, Sthembiso Nhleko aka “T-Note” and also Ntsika
Nduli aka “Vann”. We regularly collaborate with Luyanda Mkhungo aka “BOi D” and Mqondisi
Simelane who are a prominent up and coming rapper/producer duo from the Upper Highway area. Formerly established on the 7th of July in 2016, we have been firmly focused on improving the quality
of our product while also understanding and appreciating the administrative aspects of the industry we
are a part of. The results of our efforts have been telling as on the stables first project Looney D’s
“Campfire stories” we had the opportunity to work with Lindokuhle “Kevin Simpson” Majola who is
well known for his post-production work on Zanda Zakuza’s hit single “Umvulo”. In this year we are focusing on building publishing, marketing and distribution models for our music,
in order to fully exploit our prospective value-chain for the benefit of our artists while growing our
DBNKD Records profile as a brand. WE OUTCHEA. The stable’s first piece of work is Looney’s debut mixtape/Ep called “Campfire Stories”. It’s a
showcase of his brilliant handicraft with the pen, rapping and crooning alongside some of DBNKD’s
earliest production. He takes a journey through his life, detailing times good, bad and lit. The 20th of
