For Women’s Month 2022, Bata South Africa wanted to connect with all its customers through 4 of its sub-brands, bringing to life the Suits and Sneakers fashion trend within an integrated 360 degree campaign idea.
We pitched and executed , a campaign which positioned wearing a suit as a triumphant symbol for freedom of choice for women. We collaborated with 4 distinct personalities for North Star, Tomy Takkies, Power Footwear and American Cup – individuals who we felt represented each brand in a confident, comfortable and fashionable way.
The campaign also sought to recognise and thank the real, relatable and successful women who work behind the scenes at Bata South Africa, making sure that others can look and feel their best every day.

The 45th Durban International Film Festival has concluded, and in addition to designing the official festival poster, we were honoured to design the trophies presented at the awards ceremony, working with the MakerSpace Foundation to produce them.
Pictured is the award for the 2024 Best South African Feature Film: Sierra's Gold, directed by Adze Ugah.

The DIFF poster archive and design legacy have been a huge influence and inspiration for Steve Jones and Zwelisha Giampietri, both Durban-born creatives. Following on from the incredible work Disturbance Design did for the festival's identity for many years, we're honoured to contribute to this remarkable legacy.
Having worked at the University of KwaZulu-Natal's Centre for Creative Arts on the DIFF production team for years, Steve brings a unique insider's perspective. Zweli, a longtime festival attendee since childhood, brings a cinephile's eye.
This project is truly close to their hearts.

We are looking for a talented junior to mid-level Graphic Designer to join our team on a full-time basis.
You will work closely with our creative directors and team to support an exciting range of projects and clients, across various mediums and creative outputs.
You must be a quick-thinking creative problem-solver and have a natural sensibility for GOOD design. Ideally, you are a confident and down-to-earth team player who can enrich our diverse team and projects with your personal experiences and character. If you are sustainably minded, that will be a huge plus. If you like dogs, then our studio pet, , will like you too.
We are a small company that is growing fast, so our studio is agile, highly responsive, and continuously evolving. Our strength lies in our love of collaborating with our team and the network of people that we work with and serve.
You will be involved in creating and editing graphics and illustrations, building social media content calendars, logo design, branding applications, image editing & retouching, proposal layouts, print layouts, and creating (or learning how to create) motion graphics.
This is a full-time in-house position, but after an initial period, you will be able to work part-time remotely and part-time at our studio .

We developed inspiring brand equity campaign and live activation that encouraged Power's followers to get moving on their health, fitness and wellbeing goals.
The Power to Be wellness event presented a holistic 1-day programme, aimed at equipping guests with the power they need to achieve their goals. The programme was developed in partnership with The Toolbox and facilitated by co-founder of The Toolbox, Nosizwe Mji.
Guests included a group of amazing Power followers who won a spot at the event for themselves and a friend, as well as brand personalities, influencers, and members of the media.

Lindo may not require much of an introduction, as you most probably would have met him in his previous role managing the infamous The Glenwood Bakery.
It's likely, however, that you don't know that Lindo studied Accounting, and joined New Noise Studios in early 2023 as our business administrator.
During his time here, he's seamlessly picked up on the ins and outs of our business operations and client requirements, and, as it goes with most of our team members, is multi-skilled: involved in both financial and production aspects of the business.

wit BFirst is inspired by the brand's aim to promote child wellness; encouraging children to be happy, and mentally and emotionally stable.
Sharing our feelings can make it easier to cope with different situations, as it teaches us to practice kindness and understanding with ourselves, and the people around us. When we begin to describe how we are feeling, it becomes easier to navigate those moments when our emotions can get out of control. 🫶

We’ve been a bit quiet on here because we feel it is insensitive to go on posting about work without acknowledging the pain and violence that is happening around us.
Despite the many deep and complex issues we face as a country, we are proud of what it means to be South African. We are a diverse and beautiful nation with a robust democracy. Our generation proves that it is possible to be liberated from a painful and oppressive history and strive for peace, unity, and joy.
We want to be part of the positive change that is so greatly needed in the world today. We encourage other South Africans and citizens of the world to dig deep and find the empathy and compassion required to come together as a global community, for the sake of humanity and our planet.
At New Noise, we stand against war. We stand against violence. We stand against discrimination in all forms, and we stand against oppression.

The Gallery shop supports so many talented KZN artists and artisans, and has amazing art and craft work for sale.
