This year, the country celebrates 30 years of freedom and democracy, with a sharp focus on women emancipation✊🏾.

In line with this, is hosting the Women Economic Engagement under the theme: ‘Celebrating 30 years of Women Economic Empowerment’, as part of Women’s Month activities.

The Engagement will be held at 📌Durban Botanical Gardens on 📆 30 August.

The engagement aims to highlight business opportunities availed by the City over the past years, and to unpack existing opportunities and planned programmes to ensure the advancement of women.

Esteemed women in business, academia, and eThekwini Municipality executives will lead the panel discussion to provide valuable information and pointers for women to shape their careers and enterprises.

*Travel and Operator Services*
Within this group, businesses that provide a range of services that make travel possible are listed. These include tour wholesalers and operators, travel agents, tourist guides, car rental companies, transport services and coach operators.

*Other Tourism-related Initiatives*
Any other business that falls into the travel and tourism industry but doesn’t fit the above-mentioned categories, can still apply for the grant as long as they form a part of the value chain as prescribed in the Tourism B-BBEE Sector Code.
