My Light Bulb moment came flashing by, in a time of much sadness, hopelessness seeing no light at the end of the tunnel! . Amen... Yes the revelation that we all are given talents and we have the opportunity to express our passions and never to sit down and accept the ordinary!!. So hence starting my own Social Media Consultancy , to give small struggling business an opportunity to shine and make a difference in their communities with the services they have to offer. Small budgets, can make huge impact.. I realized that there was a big disconnect between social marketing and their clients. So I have created a special sharing strategy and plan that suits the needs of each and every customer! Creating opportunities for small business’s owners to break boundaries, and get break through! To see the light in the storms!
Working in a Bank for almost 20 years in Marketing and Sales, then to journey on to Jingles advertising working with one of the best Radio Media Guru’s in South Africa “Colin Reed” gaining experience and a love for Media, Marketing and advertising for 8 years. Married for past 28 years to a wonderful, incredible husband Grant McDonald : yes the Best Personal Coach trainer in The World “in my opinion” Raising a Family (two beautiful daughters) . During this time of raising a family one can loose yourself , your self worth and so it’s survival, making ends meet.. day to day struggles... sacrifices are made ( the fruits you do see in your children) During this time raising the girls, times where difficult financially, so for a good 5 years I just took on various working opportunities that where flexible for the family. Working in various positions such as : Real Estate, jewelry boutique manager, law firm, holiday letting, and the laundry business ! Even tried my hand at running my own health cosmetic business with a partner from home for a few years (importing a product from Russia) this taught me a whole different perspective on running your own business ( it was not totally successful ) But so many valuable lessons where learnt during this time. This gave me a incredible insight into small business’s and where there weakness where especially between, service and lack of brand awareness. So I welcome you on my journey of new opportunities and adventures and my story................
