A word of encouragement:
CLOSE, CLOSER (adv) - to be near in time, space, effect or degree. A word I received early this year.
"Do not fear says the Lord for I am near. In every breath that you breathe; in every word you speak. In every detail of your life I AM NEAR." - a reminder from a prayer with my sister in Christ.

But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”:
Romans 10:8a NKJV
It's good knowing that God knows us by name - it's even great that the very hairs on our heads are numbered.
He knows how to get us from point A to B as we Delight in Him and His presence🍃.

I got reminded of how God beautifully and masterfully led me to my first job - it was to be a tutor - something I never thought of doing before but my heart was set on venturing out with God so I simply yielded to the challenge. [I wrote about this in my new book📚].

We have a Savior who came not just as a full grown man to perform the death, burial and resurrection but came to identify as us, grow and live among His creation- Him being the second Adam to fulfil all the demands of the law on our behalf. He grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man (Luke 2:52). Daily we can receive from the abundance of His supply and reign in life (Rom 5:17)👑.

John 1:17 NKJV says For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ..the former shows a distant, cold and impersonal impression than the latter where it shows a nearness by which Jesus came.
Day by day through His Holy Spirit we can experience of God’s unconditional love that pursues us. It ignites a greater hunger and thirst for His presence to invade our world and to go on adventures with Him💌.

He is able to lead us to still waters. Trust Him. May He lead you through His Word in this new week. His perfect love casts out all fear [1 John 4:18]. Find rest in His promises- as you realize what already belongs to you in Christ. Such as Phil 1:6; Romans 8:32; 2 Peter 1:3.

We overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the Word of our testimony (Rev 12:11).🧡

Proverbs 16:10-11 AMP Divinely directed decisions are on the lips of the king, His mouth should not transgress in judgement.
A just balance and scales⚖ are the Lord's, all the weights of the bag are His work [established on His eternal principles].

Somethings we do in private and others publicly yet God always examines our hearts.(Here's a thought I have learned)👇🏿
In the New Covenant it's not popular once a person is saved to pray "create in me a clean heart that I may worship you" - we are already righteous before God isn't it. Yet our souls (mind, will, emotions) may deceive us & have us produce unrighteous acts [when they are unyielding to Holy Spirit]. When they are lacking the spiritual discipline of Romans 12:1.🔦

So we REPENT 🎬 {change the top/mind} (Romans 12:2) as soon as we are aware. Because who may climb the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in His Holy place? - only those whose hands and hearts are pure, who do not worship idols and never tell lies...( Psalm 24).
Rather live as a child of the Light. [Luke 11:34; John 12:35-36]. There is still a reverential fear of God that we need to upkeep and that helps us keep our hearts and hands from evil. He is a Holy God. Jesus paid the price.🙌🏾🤍

I was at church many years ago when I envisioned ladies dressed in oh so beautifully embellished gowns💎📯. As they were gearing to ascend the hill of the Lord - the colors were not specific - must have been of many colors beyond the rainbow ones🌈(favored like Joseph). The invite to the Lord's table is open to anyone that would believe.

These made me think how surprised we will be one day in Heaven when we meet individuals we never though would make it there. God knows His own by name🍃🧡.

What a packed verse. It's always a good idea to not only take a verse but consider the context of it, the audience intended for it; also the vocabulary of it as one reads and studies it from different Versions🤓.

This exercise helps one to grow in their walk with God. Beyond a Sunday Church service or mid-week homecell.
May you be encouraged to seek🔑, for you will surely find and be rewarded.🏅🥳

A living sacrifice looks like - a daily offering..not hurried nor impersonal but face to face with the one who calls you by name.

Jesus is the bread of Life, our Salvation. Everyday we need saving and He gives us each day from the abundance of His supply. How then do we take the glory for our behavior which are fruits of our changed nature ..Phil 1:11 AMP - filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God [so that His glory may be both revealed and recognized].

The saving of a soul begins when the 2 dominate over the 1. The Spirit and body in surrender. The mind is a gate. That being the mystery of Godliness. 1 Thess. 5:23- 24 NKJV Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.

In consistency lies the power - the will of God is fulfilled in our lives one day at a time - through a patient endurance. He is not a vending machine, it's a relational journey. He is not unfair - the playing field has been leveled, for every individual, industry, profession, government, nation. That being through the Power of Intention. Wealth and poverty is a heart posture.

- Your precepts are fully confirmed and completely reliable; Holiness adorns Your house, O Lord, forever. Psalm 93:5 AMP

- But the Lord of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, And God who is holy shall be hallowed in righteousness. Isaiah 5:16 NKJV

- The blessing of the Lord brings [true] riches, And He adds no sorrow to it [for it comes as a blessing from God].
Proverbs 10:22 AMP

Hallowed be His Name - may His name be kept Holy.

There are a number of things that seek for our attention and affection. As an African child I have been taught to pursue black excellence and all things praise worthy have their place. Yet no flesh glories in God's presence.

I once got honored to be a part of a group of students, young as they were they were impacting the lives of communities through entrepreneurial action. To improve the quality of life and standard of living of their beneficiaries. A body of about 190 students - who had the succession of victories at the competitions. They had two rules in place. Rule number 6 - don't take yourself too serious. And rule number 5 - it's not personal. What a time to be alive.

When we get saved, we are encouraged to renew ours minds to who we are in the Spirit (Romans 12:2). Because we are 3 parts in our natural making - spirit, soul and body. 2 Corinthians 5:17 AMP says Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life].

Conditions of our natural lives try to keep us captive even in our walk with God - the church says renew your mind = behavior modification yet Romans 12:1 says present your body as a living sacrifice. The Father says behold my Son in whom you have Ascended - who is the way to The Father (2 Cor 3:18). Take your seat with Him in the presence of God, so then you can walk with confidence and stand in the spiritual world and then in the natural world. We enter into the spiritual by beholding God's Word - let it lead you to The Father, your Creator (Psalm 119:105).

A word of African origin. Meaning helped, nursed, rescued or redeemed. This was the original title for the book - the meaning still holds within the pages.

The title Living Redeemed got personally challenging, as not all areas of one's life look the part. Inspite of wandering off in doubt and unbelief; growth and mind renewal have been rewarding processes.🙌🏾

Faith calls us to the things not yet seen.
To the paralyzed man Matthew 9:2 and 5, Jesus said in v.2 "Be encouraged, my child! Your sins are forgiven."
v.5 Is it easier to say "Your sins are forgiven," or Stand up and walk?"...this shows that right believing can lead to right living.💫

In this book, I share some of my personal exhilarating and faith filled experiences in the journey of redemption. I invite the reader to consider some concepts for their own journey and perhaps growth/development ‐ it is quite an adventure.🧡

What a time to be alive.
There are certain things that are a mystery and go beyond our human understanding. This book is based off my personal journey with God - integrated with Biblical context. As we journey through this book - may we go beyond our natural senses.

We will not come to a full revelation on this side of heaven...I only trust that we will hunger and thirst to know Him more. For to know Him is eternal life.🧡
