What a year it has been! Thank you to every performer, pupil and parent. This year we have achieved so much, and we couldn't have done so, without your support.

Our small business is blooming into what I know, will be the start of even more wonderful things to come. Here's to our dedicated and capable coaches, to the deep love of learning and teaching, to the fun I trust every lesson brings to all students, and most importantly the development of what you aim to achieve while embarking on your own journey in music!

I hope 2024 brings you nothing but joy, health, and an abundance of success!

We are tremendously proud of 12 yr old, Ishaan Gokhale, performing JS Bach's Prelude in C Major, from the new Grade 5 2023 Trinity Piano Syllabus, in South Africa. Three grades higher than the exam he has just completed! This is part of a challenge from Trinity college showcasing their wonderful new repertoire.

Ishaan has been taking lessons with our piano coach David Goedhart, for just under two years at HTS-Hynek Training Studios. Ishaan has made incredible progress in such a short time. Well done! Ishaan continues his theory and practical examinations through Trinity College of London, as well as various Eisteddfodau and live performances. Keep shining! 🙏✨🇿🇦

Abi, is one of our many students in full swing preparation for her theory of music exam, taking place in the first session of May 2023!

Some of the benefits of reading and writing music and why we incorporate it wherever possible:

• Assists in cognitive and analytical thinking.
• More musical precision and accuracy.
• Collaborate with other musicians easily.
• Easily write and read back your own compositions.

Theory is understanding the language of music at its core. A good comparative is being able to speak a foreign language but having no comprehensive use of reading or writing it.
