We were back for a second year at FAME Week Africa! - Connecting The World of Social Media with the TV, Film and Music industries.

Our incredibly talented Operations Manager (Aleks Surogina), Content Strategist (Raeesa Dhorat) and CEO (Danilo Acquisto) took to the stage at MIP Africa as part of FAME Week - joined by players like Netflix, DSTV, Primedia Studios, Showmax and more.

We were invited to present 2 sessions; a YouTube 101 and Social Media’s role in TV Properties. In essence we had the (tough) job of convincing the TV producers, rights owners and other stakeholders that YouTube and Social Media should not fall under marketing alone as social media (if treated like a business) can help you get sentiment insights, mine audience data, generate revenue and create an omni-channel environment within which to bring stories to life. We also got to dive into the specifics of YouTube where we walked audiences through features, best practice, global and local case studies and our incredible work on Deal or No Deal South Africa & The Masked Singer South Africa.

We are grateful to have had the opportunity to drive the industry forward and look forward to seeing you there next year.
