Inspired by Cape Town’s natural and demographic diversity, Ashlee is a fresh creative hitting the ground running, whilst completing her Industrial Design Degree at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. hy, videography, graphics, food/product styling, fire dancing and Biomimicry, while she analyses the natural world for a solution that tells a story. Surrounded by a technologically driven world, this young designer has not yet lost her passion for textiles, natural materials and processes. A blend of craft and industrial design is and always will be a very important aspect of her design. She believes, and exhibits in her work, that these elements can co-exist and that this amalgamation will create a truly intriguing and desirable product that instantly resonates with people.
