KisimaRadio Turns 1!🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

It's been an incredible year since KisimaRadio first went live on July 31st, 2023! Since then, we've been on a journey to empower our listeners with informative, educational, and inspiring content. We believe in people discovering their identity and purpose and live a fulfilling life.

We're especially grateful for the amazing collaborations we've built over the past year. We've hosted initiatives like the Journalism Heritage Event, Active Citizenry workshops, and the WENEO school program. We're also proud to offer Work Integrated Learning opportunities for CPUT's Journalism and PR & Communications students.

The challenges we face only fuel our passion to keep moving forward. We believe this is our calling, and with God by our side, we're excited to see what the future holds! ✨

With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of Reverend Tshuka, a giant of faith, pillar of strength, guidance and discipline for many people including us at KisimaRadio.

His Godly wisdom, unwavering presence at our community prayers,and fatherly encouragement touched us as a generation. A true soldier for advancing the Kingdom of God. We will miss him dearly❤️

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the Word of truth. - 2 Timothy 2 v 15.

At 15:30, we'll be joined by Vusumzi Mkhetshane, the Public Relations and Communications Officer of the South African Library For the Blind. He'll be sharing insights into the importance of accessible literature and the impact of reading for the visually impaired community.

Then, at 16:15, we'll have the pleasure of hosting Lungisa Ngqolovu, author of the captivating book "Ndixolele Nondzuzo Mntakwethu". Despite being blind, Lungisa's literary talent shines through, and we're honored to have him share his journey and experiences with us.
