Digital Dictionary: A/B testing

A/B is a testing method comparing two different versions of your content, to see which performs better. The most important part of A/B testing: only test ONE variable at a time.

An example of an A/B test:
Sending an email campaign with two different subject lines to your audience to track which one results in a higher open rate.

Digital Dictionary: Engagement

An engagement is any action that a user takes when interacting with your content online. This can be measured in various ways.

Examples of engagement:
🔗 clicking on a link
❤️ liking an Instagram post
🤝 sharing a Facebook post
📂 opening an email
✅ reviewing a product

Engagement shows that your content is resonating with your audience and that it is spurring them to take actions that will help you reach your marketing objectives. It also shows that your users are not bots! 🤖

6 Easy steps to keep your social media accounts secure

We’ve all heard the stories – Instagram accounts hacked, Facebook logins blocked, access denied. It can be a nightmare, and once the damage is done it can be very difficult to recover your account. Don’t let it be you!

1. Update your passwords. Do it now: Facebook2019 is already too old!
2. Find a system. Truly secure passwords are hard to hold in your memory.
3. Use 2-Factor Authentication. Many great apps are free!
4. Add another Admin you trust. This is a great tip for Facebook assets!
5. Delete old users. Do it now, please!
6. Lock your phone. Yes, it can be a hassle but your phone has access to so much sensitive information. See point 3.
