When my song first played on KC 107.7 I was the happiest man on earth as it is played in my hometown on the station that I grew up with and a station my late grandmother loved.

My interview with the afternoon drive show took place a few days after my grandmothers passing so it was a bitter sweet moment for me.

I learned about the MzansiTop10 count down on the kc page as well as through Damian Roos.

At this time my song been playing on RADIO NFM 98.1 and was on their chart too.

Now little fact about me is I used to be obsessed with chart shows and even wanted to do radio just so that I can do a chart show. I always compiled my own charts at home over a weekend and then pretend hosted my own count down 😅🥹☺️.

Fast forward and my song reach the top of the charts on the two stations that playlisted my song.

I want to thank both radio stations for the platform. It is needed to help artist like myself and many others to grow and also showcase what we can do.

I want to thank each and everyone who voted for my song over the last few months. Without your votes and support my song would not have topped both charts.

I would like to encourage everyone to go for your dreams. Invest in it because it can become a reality.

This is everything to me. The station I grew up listening to everyday cause that’s the station my parents always listened to and still does. Learned that my grandma who recently passed away loved the station too.
